Ezen az állandóan frissülő oldalon az általam olvasott könyvek listája olvasható időrendi sorrendben. Mostantól fogva igyekszem majd pár sort írni minden éppen befejezett darabról, és a hosszabb-rövidebb áttekintőket el lehet majd érni innen a címekre kattintva.

A könyvek döntő többségét angolul olvasom, de ha az adott darab tudomásom szerint már magyarul is megjelent, akkor itt a magyar címét tüntettem fel. Az alcímek általában meglehetősen beszédesek (egybe begépelve a listát megdöbbentett, hogy mennyire egy kaptafára dolgoznak a kiadók, és mennyire nehezükre esik nem valami bulváros és túlzó alcímet a szerzőkre erőltetniük), de az alábbiak szerint kicsit ki is színeztem a listát:
- a legtöbb darab természet- vagy társadalomtudományos ismeretterjesztő;
- kékkel szerepelnek a regények;
- zölddel a “köztes” zónába tartozók: memoárok, életrajzok;
- pirossal azok, amelyek már a szakkönyv vagy tankönyv kategóriába esnek;
- vastagon szedtem a kiemelkedően emlékezetes és emiatt nagyon ajánlott darabokat;
- és halványan azokat, amik nekem nem tetszettek, vagy néha nem is értem, hogy anno miért olvastam el őket.

Ami(ke)t jelenleg olvasok

Általában természetesen csak egy könyvet olvasok egyszerre, sőt, igyekszem addig nem új könyvet venni, ameddig az előzőt be nem fejeztem. Most viszont három darab is használatban van. Ennek oka, hogy a két éghajlattal foglalkozó művet nem csak olvasom, hanem tanulási céllal is forgatom, emiatt addig nem haladok velük tovább, amíg a már olvasottakat nem sikerül kijegyzetelni, a részleteknek utánajárni az elérhető tudományos publikációkban. Emellett azonban valamit muszáj olvasni a napi ingázás alkalmával.
